Specialising in commercial photography and video, we are often asked to visit factories, capturing the production process from start to finish. Being a complex challenge, this requires the perfect angle, space, or height to position the camera.

To make sure we are prepared as much as possible, we take into consideration everything the client asks from us before the shoot to pack accordingly, also planning for possible shots that the client may ask from us on the day. Packing a wide range of equipment with us, including anything from our jib arm, flash lighting, reflectors, and the list goes on. We make sure to be prepared for any situation that may arise within the shoot.

Working with a long-standing client, Guy Raymond, we prepared for a shoot involving robots and heavy machinery, shooting photographic stills and video. Turning to our trusted camera equipment, making the job possible, the shoot is never a challenge.

Focusing on the size and scale of the factory, we knew the camera needed positioning from above. Using our jib arm to raise the camera to the appropriate height, we were able to fit all the machinery in the room within the frame of the image. Making use of our jib arm to capture smooth moving footage across the aerial view of the factory, the client had confidence that we were able to execute each job with a successful result.

With the factory incorporating new high-tech machinery, this was a focus point for our clients. The task at hand, getting an insight into the new robotic machinery, revealing each part that made up the machine. Making use of our jib arm again, allowed us to capture video of the perfect shot without breaching health and safety guides, still being in the heart of the action.

The overall result: We left the client with a feeling of confidence in how we executed the job, being able to achieve everything the client had asked of us to even being able to shoot footage of intricate moving parts of selected machines within the factory, the client felt satisfied that we had completed the job to a professional standard.
