Creating visually appealing room sets is more than just putting together a typical household room - it's about understanding your customers, and your target audience, and communicating the identity of your brand through the photographs.

At Focalpoint Digital, we understand the importance of connecting with our clients and creating room sets that match their vision. Creating a clear understanding of what our clients want to convey within the room sets ensures that we deliver the best results to our clients while maintaining a formal standard of professionalism and fostering a successful work relationship.

For this particular shoot, we prepared to create four unique bedroom room sets, each with a distinct style and feel. Preparation included wall painting, standing up walls, laying wood panels down and incorporating a standing window within the set. At the start of the shoot, we photographed the room sets on white walls first. Continuing onto the next set, we painted the walls dark grey. Shooting the room sets in this order, helped us to progress in a time-effective manner.

We believe that communication is the key to understanding our client's target audience. The best way to achieve this is by gathering the appropriate props together to style the room according to the planned theme. By doing so, we ensure that the final product effectively captures the desired message and resonates with our client's customers. It's knowing what feels like too much, what makes sense and what feels comfortable when creating a sense of reality.

Providing a diverse array of services to our clients, we frequently integrate video production into the shoots. As part of this shoot, we were to record an interview between the founder of Wrought Iron Brass Bed Company and the CEO of Made in Britain. By interviewing in a studio environment, we were able to achieve optimal sound quality and evenly lit visuals, utilising our professional studio lighting equipment.

Upon conclusion of the shoot, the client expressed satisfaction with the finalised results and deemed the task at hand to be successfully fulfilled. The resulting imagery now prominently featured on the company's website, social media, and other marketing materials has aided in increasing brand recognition, generating heightened sales and awareness for their new product line.
